Ochre’s beautiful light filled studio, just 15 mins from Byron Bay, in the Northern Rivers.

What Time: 10-1pm
How Much: $400 each. Includes quality electrical hardwiring from Edison Lighting
OR $250 each without electrical hardwiring and light fittings
Includes Coffee, Tea and Bread Social pastries (vegan + Gf options by request)
And of course a finished GLAZED Table Lamp.

You will be taught hand building basics… How to make a pinch pot, how to coil with clay, attach handles, legs etc. and how to make sure your pieces won’t blow up in the kiln! I promise you’ll leave having created a beautiful ‘working’ table lamp.
And the BEST PART, once glazed and fired they will be wire (by certified electrician) with quality Edison Lighting Fittings SO THEY WILL ACTUALLY TURN ON!!!
If you chose to include hardware our electrician will wire your lamps up, for you to pick up a few weeks later. (Posting is also an option for extra cost.)

You don’t need any prior experience, and we will make sure you can work towards an achievable goal for the class. Of course if you have worked with clay before you can use your prior experience to take on a slightly more challenging design.

After our workshop I will then glaze + fire your beautiful creations for you to pick up a few weeks later.
If you chose to include hardware our electrician will wire your lamps up, for you to pick up a few weeks later. (Posting is also an option for extra cost.)
